This image is called Hovering Love. It’s part of my Green Girl images done in collaboration with poet Mary Jo Amani for her book Green Girl Weaving.
This crow was done to support an abondoned vision of the book that would have been published in black and white (and maybe red?). If you look closely, there’s a heart on the crow’s breast that was accidental, but saved once recognized.
