This is a wonderful old oak tree set back from 197 as you travel up the mountain. There’s a pull out for a waterfall, and this tree is off to the side, quietly standing tall with it’s amazing roots.

This image has also served as inspiration for poets through the Wombwell Rainbow’s Ekphrasitc Challenge where poets were provided daily images to base their poetic efforts on.
