Jack in the Pulpit Fantasy

In the spring, the ephemerals move so quickly that you you never quite know who is actually blooming when you start out. The morning I drew this image, I was disappointed to have missed the trilliums near one of my favorite waterfalls. So I sat down to draw and then realized that I had found the seasons for Jack in the Pulpits and they were everywhere.
