Red Pears in Bowl

Sometimes inspiration strikes in the most ordinary places. This time was in the produce section of my store. The pears were so lovely and red I had to bring them home to draw, and they were delicious too!

This image has also served as inspiration for poets through the Wombwell Rainbow’s Ekphrasitc Challenge where poets were provided daily images to base their poetic efforts on.
