They aren't REALLY Yellow Trilliums Mom!

Sometimes my son can be a little too literal and when I found yellow trilliums blooming at Laurel Creek and showed him the picture was one of t1hose times. He immediately focused on the red edges and said, “They aren’t really yellow mom!” Thus this painting got it’s title.

This image has also served as inspiration for poets through the Wombwell Rainbow’s Ekphrasitc Challenge where poets were provided daily images to base their poetic efforts on.
